3.2.10 Changing the management user account settings of management functionality

This subsection describes the procedure for changing the settings of a Management user account to be entered when logging in to the management portal. In the Web front system, the password for the management user ID is not set. The following is an example of setting the management user ID password (adminpw).

Organization of this subsection

(1) Startup and login of the management portal

Once you have logged in to the management portal, proceed to (2) Changing the settings of Management user account.

  1. Start the Web browser, connect to http://localhost:28080/mngsvr/index.jsp, and then run the management portal.

  2. Enter "admin" in the management user ID in the Login to Management Server window, and click the Login button.

(2) Changing the settings of management user account

  1. Click Cosminexus Management Server Settings on the Management Portal window.

  2. Click Cosminexus Management Server settings - Management User Account Settings.

  3. On the Management User Account Settings window, specify adminpw in Password and Input confirmation, and then click the Apply button.

    If a message showing failure appears, remove the cause of the failure, and then set Management user account again.

  4. Click the Back to Login Window anchor.

    From next time, in Login to Management Server window, enter admin in the Management User ID and adminpw in the password, and then click the Login button.
