2.1.1 Preparing the database
Install the database products by connecting to the database server.
You can connect to the following databases from the systems set up by using the Setup Wizard. Install one of the following products based on the environment in use. For details on the installation procedure of each product, see the respective product manuals.

HiRDB (HiRDB/Parallel Server Version 9 or later, and HiRDB/Single Server Version 9 or later)
For details on the installation procedure and initial settings of the database server, see the HiRDB Installation and Design Guide.

Oracle (Oracle 11g R2 or later)
For details on the installation procedure and initial settings of the database server, see the Oracle manual.
When setting up Application Server, specify the following information for setting up the database connection environment. Retain this information for when you set up the database server.
