1.2 Overview of system setup

This section gives an overview of the system set up by using the Setup Wizard.

In the system setup, first, set up a single Web front system (a system that allocates Web server and the J2EE server to the same host). Then, change the settings or configuration of that system as and when required to set up a system that fulfills the system requirements.

The procedure to set up a system is as follows. Note that you can start the operations just by executing the following step1. Execute step 2. and step 3. depending on the system requirements.

1. Set up a single Web front system. (1.2.1)

   Set up or change the system environment definition as and when required, so as to fulfill the system performance or reliability requirements.

2. Change the configuration of the Web front system to ensure availability. (1.2.2)

   Ensure availability by allocating multiple hosts with the same configuration.

3. Change the configuration of Web front system to support multi-tenancy. (1.2.3 or 1.2.4)

   Support multi-tenancy by allocating multiple J2EE servers or resource adapters.
