8.1.3 Editing smart device information

You can change smart device information already registered to the smart device manager.

Prerequisites

• You must log in by using a user account with the system administrator permission.

• You must obtain contents of the smart device information to be changed in advance. The following items are the smart device information which you can change with this procecure.

  • Current security policy

  • Current Android policy/iOS profile

  • Department

  • Account

  • User name

Procedure

1. Export the smart device list to a CSV file.

   Export of the smart device list can be performed on the smart device screen or with the sdmioutils command.

2. Open the exported CSV file with a text editor.

3. Edit items of the smart device you want to change, and then store the CSV file.

4. Import the CSV file to the smart device list.

   Import from a CSV file can be executed on the smart device screen or with the sdmioutils command.

Result

Contents of smart device information which has already been registered to JP1/ITDM2 - SDM are changed.
