7.3.1 Adding iOS profiles
In the iOS Profile List view of the Security module, you can add an iOS profile. By applying the added iOS profile to iOS devices, you can monitor usage of the target iOS devices.
Prerequisites

You must log in by using a user account with the system administrator permission.

You must create a profile by using the iPhone Configuration Utility (provided by Apple) in advance.
Procedure

Display the Security module.

In the menu area, select Security and then iOS Profile List.

In the information area, click the Add button.

In the dialog box that appears, specify the profile name and the path to the import file.

For iOS Profile Name, you cannot use the following characters:

, (comma) (ACSII code 0x2c)

" (double quotation) (ACSII code 0x22)

Click OK.

When you add a profile for iOS, iOS Profile Name must be same file name created by iPhone configuration utility. For instance, when iPhone configuration utility created "for_general_worker.mobileconfig", you must use "for_general_woker" for iOS Profile Name. If these name are mismatch, the operations of unmanaging a device and removing iOS profiles from a device must fail. In this case, please correct the iOS profile's name on Edit iOS Profile Information dialog.
Result
The iOS profile is added and displayed in the iOS Profile List view.
