Could not upgrade the database.

[Cause] An error occurred while upgrading the database. The possible reasons are:

(1) Improper access privileges to database folder, local data folder, or database extraction folder.

(2) An attempt was made to access the database from Remote Install Manager or IT Desktop Management 2 - Asset Console.

(3) An I/O error occurred.

[Action] Cancel Setup.

[Workaround] Perform the following checks, and then retry the setup:

(1) Confirm the access rights of database folder, local data folder, and database extraction folder.

(2) Stop Remote Install Manager, and then make sure that the commands for the distribution function that uses Remote Install Manager are not being executed. Also, make sure that management information on IT Desktop Management 2 - Asset Console is not being acquired. If there is a cnctusrinf file in the mgr\db\SPOOL folder under the installation folder, use the IP addresses shown in the "C-IP" item of the cnctusrinf file to identify the computers that are accessing the database. If there is a dbconbackup.inf file in the mgr\temp folder under the installation folder, use the IP addresses shown in the "C-ADDR" item of the dbconbackup.inf file to identify the computers that are accessing the database.

(3) Make sure that no disk failures occurred.
