16.8.4 Meaning of codes depending on specification range

Depending on the code specification range, there might be code IDs whose addable codes are limited in range, or code IDs which are treated differently in the asset management system. When adding or changing codes, you must note the appropriate specification range.

The following table describes the code IDs along with the specification ranges in which they can be added.

When maintenance of the asset management database is executed by the Data maintenance task registered in Windows Task Scheduler, the associated network information (IP address only), installed software information, patch information, and virus definition information are deleted.

Additionally, the license key assigned to assets is released.

When management information is obtained from the JP1/IT Desktop Management 2 - Manager, the information is updated regardless of the code value of AssetStatus.

License totaling does not apply to devices whose device status is Scrap or Erase.

This information is deleted if a maintenance operation is executed on the asset management database by the Data maintenance task registered in Windows Task Scheduler.
