14.6 Managing device details
This section explains how to manage details about a device. The details about a device are displayed in the Device Details dialog box from the search or totaled results obtained from each job.
The Device Details dialog box is used to view and edit various types of device-related information. The following information can be viewed in the tabs of the Device Details dialog box:

Asset and hardware information (Device tab)

You can specify attached files in the Device Details dialog box. Because attached files are hidden by default, perform the following procedure to change the display setting:

Select the job menu item System Definition, Customize Managed Items, and then click the anchor for VariousInfo under class.

Under managed class in the displayed dialog box, click ValueText.

Under properties in the displayed dialog box, select the check box for the display of HardwareInfo_AttachFile, and then click the Update button.
