2.6 Limiting available functions by user roles
Asset Console's asset management system enables corporate assets information to be widely shared among users, from general users to the staff in charge of the asset management jobs. However, the asset management system might contain some information that should not be shared or manipulated by general users.
If the usage of Asset Console depends on the nature of user jobs, available information and functions can be limited by means of user roles.
For example, you can set the following limitations for general users:

Prohibit updating of information about software programs installed on devices.

Prohibit execution of Transfer License jobs.
