6.4.7 Event TCP notification definition file (apmtcpsend.conf)

Define the information to be used by TCP communication to post APM-issued events in the event TCP notification definition file. After modifying this file, perform either of the following tasks:

Specify whether to use TCP communication for event notification.

TCPSPORT

<<20264>>((integer of 1 to 65535))

Specify a port number.

RETRYCNT

<<0>>((0 to 5 times))

Specify the number of retry attempts in cases when events cannot be reported. 0 means that notification will not be retried.

INTERVAL

<<5>>((3 to 10 seconds))

Specify the retry interval.

(3) Directions of traffic through a firewall

The following table describes the directions of traffic through the firewall when TCP communication is used for events issued by APM:

#: This port number is the default value. If the setting has been modified, apply the modified port number.

If APM events are reported via TCP communication, the event delay function is disabled.
