3.8.1 Setup procedure for referencing manuals

(1) When referencing manuals from Help of PFM - Web Console

Register PFM - Agent into PFM - Web Console according to the PFM - Web Console setup procedure (perform additional setup of PFM - Agent).

On the host where PFM - Web Console is installed, create a directory into which you can copy manuals:
You need to create the following directory:
- In Windows:

PFM - Web Console-installation-folder\doc\en\help-ID-of-PFM - Agent for Enterprise Applications
- In Linux:

/opt/jp1pcwebcon/doc/en/help-ID-of-PFM - Agent for Enterprise Applications
For details about the help ID of PFM - Agent for Enterprise Applications, see Appendix C. List of Identifiers.

Copy the following files and directories from the manual distribution media in to the directory you created in step 2:
- For HTML manuals

In Windows:
All HTML and CSS files and GRAPHICS folders under CD-ROM-drive/MAN/3021/manual-number (such as 03004A0D)
In Linux:
All HTML and CSS files and GRAPHICS directories under /CD-ROM-mount-point/MAN/3021/manual-number (such as 03004A0D)
- For PDF manuals

In Windows:
PDF files under CD-ROM-drive/MAN/3021/manual-number (such as 03004A0D)
In Linux:
PDF files under /CD-ROM-mount-point/MAN/3021/manual-number (such as 03004A0D)
When you copy files, make sure that the PDF files or INDEX.HTM files are placed directly under the directory you created for the PDF manuals or HTML manuals, respectively.

Restart PFM - Web Console.
(2) When referencing manuals from the hard disk of the computer being used
To reference manuals from the hard disk of the computer being used, use one of the following methods:

Use setup.exe on the distribution media to install the manuals (applicable to Windows only)

Directly copy the HTML, CSS, PDF, and GIF files to a desired directory
For HTML manuals, set the directory structure as follows:
html (contains HTML and CSS files)
|-GRAPHICS (contains GIF files)
