Errorlog Error Detail (PD_EE)
- Organization of this page
Function
The Errorlog Error Detail (PD_EE) record contains detailed information related to the errors that occurred in Microsoft SQL Server. One record is created for each error recorded in the error log.
This is a multi-instance record.
If the OS is Windows in Japanese, English or Chinese environment, strings whose meaning correspond to Error in each language are collected. This record is not supported by Windows in other language environments.
When the real-time report is displayed, this record displays all errors recorded in the Microsoft SQL Server error log. If you are monitoring operations by collecting history or using alarms, errors that have occurred since the previous collection will be collected.
If a failure occurs in Microsoft SQL Server, the same error might continue to be output to the Microsoft SQL Server error log many times. In such cases, if you collect the Errorlog Error Detail (PD_EE) record, the following events might occur:
-
The capacity of the Store database increases.
-
Collecting the record takes a long time, and the collection of other records will be skipped until the collection of the Lock Detail record finishes.
-
A lot of memory is consumed.
If you collect histories or monitor operations by using alarms, you can use the instance information item LIMIT_PD_EE_NUMBER to set the maximum number of errors to be collected from the errors that occurred during the collection interval.
For details about the LIMIT_PD_EE_NUMBER item, see 2.1.4(2)(a) Set up instance information.
