1.3.6 Increase in the number of locks
The increase in the number of locks affects the performance of the Microsoft SQL Server. To monitor the increase in the number of locks, use the Blocked Sessions alarm in the monitoring template which PFM - Agent for Microsoft SQL Server provides. The Blocked Sessions alarm monitors the number of sessions that are waiting for lock release by other sessions.
