CDB Diagnostics Size Status(9.2)
- Organization of this page
Overview
The CDB Diagnostics Size Status(9.2) report displays the size of the diagnostic trace inside a PDB in real time.
This report is displayed when the root container or PDBs of a CDB in Oracle Database 12c R2 or later are monitored. This report is not displayed when a CDB configuration in Oracle Database 12c R1 or earlier or a conventional non-CDB configuration is monitored.
The following table describes the range of information acquired when the root container or PDBs in a CDB are monitored:
What is monitored |
User performing the monitoring |
Range of information acquired |
---|---|---|
Root container |
Oracle administrative account (sys and system) |
All PDBs inside a CDB |
Common user |
No information can be acquired. |
|
PDBs |
All users |
Performance data for the PDBs |
If the size of the maximum space available for the diagnostic trace in a PDB (Max Diagnostics Size) is either not set or set to unlimited in the Oracle Database to be monitored, values corresponding to the size of available maximum space and the size of available free space would be 0, and the percentage of available free space would be 100. Under this circumstance, field monitoring is not possible. For details, see 6. List of records for PFM - Agent for Oracle.
