3.3.3 Procedure for uninstalling the Windows edition
To uninstall PFM - RM for Platform:

At the host where PFM - RM for Platform is to be uninstalled, log on as a user with Administrator permissions.

At the local host, stop the Performance Management programs and services.
Display the service information to make sure that no services are running. If any Performance Management programs and services are running on the local host, stop all the active programs and services. You must stop all services on both physical and logical hosts.
For details about how to display service information and how to stop services, see the chapter that describes startup and termination of Performance Management in the JP1/Performance Management User's Guide.

Select the Performance Management program to be uninstalled.
From the Windows Control Panel, choose Programs and Features, and then select the Performance Management program to be uninstalled.

Select Remove, and then click the OK button.
The selected program is uninstalled.

If the user account control functionality (UAC) is enabled in the operating system, the User Account Control dialog box might be displayed during uninstallation. If it is displayed, click the Continue button to continue uninstallation, or click the Cancel button to cancel uninstallation.

If you changed the WMI connection settings in 3.1.5 WMI connection setting method (when both the PFM - RM host and the monitored host are running Windows) but the change is no longer necessary, return the settings to their original values. If you specified a private key and a public key to be used for setting up SSH public key authentication in 3.1.6 SSH connection setting method for Windows (when the PFM - RM host is running Windows and the monitored host is running UNIX), delete these keys as necessary. Furthermore, if PuTTY and Perl (ActivePerl or Strawberry Perl) are not needed, uninstall them.
