(O): Check whether the service to which an asterisk (*) is appended is running. If the service is not running or the service is in stand-alone mode, no action needs to be taken, because the monitoring status is established when the service starts or when the service switches to normal mode. If the service to which an asterisk (*) is appended is running, check the communication status, and then re-execute the command to suspend or resume monitoring.
