Continues processing.

Check the following:

  • Whether the service indicated by service-ID is running

  • Whether a communication connection can be established with the service indicated by service-ID

If a connection with the service indicated by service-ID can be successfully established, the service might have been set as the action execution service for an excessive number of actions. Use either of the following methods to change the action execution service, and then restart the service indicated by service-ID:

  • Set multiple Action Handler services as the action execution Action Handlers.

  • Set the action execution Action Handlers to LOCAL.

Calculate the number of actions as follows:

Number of actions = the number of triggers (Abnormal/Warning/Normal) for sending emails + the number of executing commands for the alarms for which the service indicated by service-ID is set as the action execution service

Example: Alarm alarm1 exists in alarm table Table1, and alarm alarm2 exists in alarm table Table2. If the action execution Action Handler is set to PH1Host1 and the triggers for sending emails and executing commands are set as follows in the action settings for individual alarms, the number of actions can be calculated as follows:
  • alarm1: Emails (Abnormal, Warning)

    Commands (Normal)

  • alarm1: Emails (Abnormal)

    Commands (Normal)

Number of actions for which action execution Action Handler is set to PH1Host1 = 3 (number of triggers for sending emails for alarm1 + number of triggers for executing commands for alarm1) + 2 (number of triggers for sending emails for alarm2 + number of triggers for executing commands for alarm2) = 5
