Service automatic start script file (jpc_start)

Function

The service automatic start script file is the script file for automatically starting all Performance Management services other than PFM - Web Console on the physical host when UNIX starts.

To enable automatic startup of services, copy the model file to the script file's storage location, change the file's name to jpc_start, and then change its permissions. You can also modify the contents of the script as needed.

Files

jpc_start.model (Model file for the service automatic start script file)

Location

The model file for the service automatic start script file is stored in the following directory:

UNIX

/opt/jp1pc/

Timing of applying definition information

No procedure is required to apply the script. When UNIX starts, the file jpc_start is read from the directory where the file is stored.

Notes

Only services on a physical host can be started using this script file. Services on a logical host cannot be started.
