10.8.1 Detecting failovers
It is difficult for Performance Management to detect failovers on PFM - Manager, PFM - Agent, or PFM - RM nodes. To detect the occurrence of a failover, you need to utilize methods such as using cluster software management tools, SNMP traps issued by the cluster software, or message monitoring of log files.
