9.1.3 Notes on migrating to SUSE Linux 15 or later
If you are restoring a backup from a host running a version of SUSE Linux earlier than SUSE Linux 15, to a host running SUSE Linux 15 or a later version, execute the following command on the Linux machine and set the group to root before performing the restore operation.
chgrp -R root back-up-directory-for-definition-information
