The following program product was added to the Performance Management products. It is also targeted for remote monitoring:
PFM - RM

JP1 system events or agent events issue notification can now be used for all events that occur in the Performance Management services.

The product name display function was added. This allows the user to specify and display service keys and service IDs in a new format.

New commands were added. These commands are compatible with commands in version 08-11 or earlier. Option formats have also been unified.

The recent operating status of the entire system and all services can now be monitored in a View Summary window.

The tiling display function was added. This allows you to display the graphs of multiple historical reports as thumbnails.

The field search function was added. You can use this function to specify keywords with the information you want to set in alarms or reports, and search monitored items by the keyword.

The quick-guide function was added. This function allows you to display reports without performing the conventional procedures used to define reports. The procedures for defining alarms have also simplified.

The definitions of displayed reports can now be edited in the View Report window.

The procedures for changing the operating host name for Performance Management products have been simplified.

Starting and stopping PFM - Manager, PFM - Base, and PFM - Web Console services can now be linked.

Internet Explorer 7.0 and Firefox 3 are now supported as monitoring console Web browsers.

Mozilla was excluded as a supported Web browser for the monitoring console.

A monitoring agent for virtual environments was added.

Remote monitors for Windows, UNIX, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server were added.

The name solution set was changed to monitoring template.

The alarm table in the monitoring template of the health check agent was changed from version 8.11 to 8.50 and 09.00.

Microsoft(R) Windows Server(R) 2008 is now supported.

Graph images for reports can now be displayed after time correction.

Bookmarks and combination bookmarks can now be configured with the jpcbdef command.

PFM services that previously stopped abnormally during operation can now be automatically restarted.

Multiple alarm tables can now be bound to a monitoring agent.

Performance Management can now be used in an environment containing multiple hosts having the same name.

Performance Management setup was simplified.

PFM - Web Console can now be used in a UNIX environment.

A description was appended. The appended description now states Solaris patches must be installed for version 09-00 or later.

The data model versions for the health check agent now include version 5.0. Because of this, PI_HAVL, PD_HOST, and PI_SYS records were added.

The alarm table versions in the monitoring template for the health check agent now include version 09.00. Because of this, Host Status Change, Host Not Available, Service Status Change, Service Abnormal (A), and Service Abnormal (S) alarms were added.

The monitoring template reports for the health check agent now includes Host Availability (4.0), Hosts Availability (4.0), Hosts Status (Real-Time) (4.0), and System Summary (4.0).
