With Performance Management, you can define alarms and reports for the health check agent in the following ways:

Performance Management provides pre-defined alarms and reports in a monitoring template for use by the health check agent. Because the necessary information has been preset in these alarms and reports, you can copy them and use them as is, or customize them to suit your environment. By using the alarms and reports in the monitoring template, you can easily prepare to monitor a system's operating status without needing to use wizards to create new definitions.
