3.6 Function for obtaining a list of settings

Performance Management can output varieties of settings for each host to files at one time. Such settings include the operation settings of each host (contents of the start information files) and the service-specific property settings.

This function can be used for the following purposes:

Note that you need a commercially-available difference comparison tool to compare files (to extract differences).

Use the jpcparamdump command to output settings to a file. When you execute the command on the target host, the settings of the Performance Management programs installed on that host are output to a text file.
