Element

Description

System

Displays the target systems with registered process work boards for which the user has permission to view Items.

Type

Displays the nature of the Item count represented in that row. There are three types of Item count:

  • Number of entries

The current number of Items. When you click the link, a list of the Items that contributed to the total appears in the list of target Items.

  • Compared to last week

The difference between the current number of Items and the number 7 days ago.

  • Compared to last month

The difference between the current number of Items and the number 30 days ago.

Process

Displays the display name of the process. When the following conditions are met, you can display the View the process work board window by clicking the name of the process in the process perspective. This window presents detailed information about the process work board.

  • A target system is specified in the menu.

  • You have view permission for Items in the target process work board.

Accumulation unit for Items#

The unit for which a total is shown in that column. There are three units for which totals are presented in the system perspective:

  • Uncompleted

Displays the number of Items in a status other than Close.

  • Extended

Displays the number of Items whose deadline has been extended. An Item is counted as extended if its status is other than Close, it has no end date and time, and a certain number of days have elapsed since its registration date. The number of days after which an Item is considered extended depends on the process. The default is 3 days for the incident management, 7 days for the problem management process, and 20 days for the change management and release management processes.

  • Top priority

The number of items in a status other than Close whose priority is Very urgent.

The process perspective has three additional units:

  • Pending

The number of items whose status is pending.

  • Discussing

The number of items whose status is discussing.

  • Today's deadline

The number of Items in a status other than Close whose deadline is today. Hyphens appear in the Compared to last week and Compared to last month rows.

#

These are the default status and process names. Statuses and processes might have been given different names in customized environments.

When the number of Items in a particular status exceeds a threshold, the cell is highlighted in red to warn the operator. If you select Process perspective from the menu and display the total number of Items across all systems, the cell is highlighted in red if even one target system exceeds the threshold. The number of Items that triggers a warning depends on the accumulation unit. The default thresholds are 30 Items for Uncompleted status, and 10 Items for the Extended, Top priority, Pending, Discussing, and Today's deadline statuses.

The Compared to last week and Compared to last month rows show one of the following icons to indicate whether the number of Items has increased or decreased:
