The event server cannot start because of an error in the event server index file or event server settings file.

Cancels event server startup processing.

Make sure that:

• The directory specified in the event server index file (index) exists.

  If the specified directory does not exist, create a directory and then copy the definition files (conf and forward) to the directory, or change the specified directory to an existing directory.

• If you are using a cluster system, the settings are specified so that the event service starts after the shared disk is mounted.

  If the settings are specified so that the event service starts before the shared disk is mounted, change the settings.

If the problem cannot be corrected, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact the system administrator.
