The remote-monitoring log file trap was not restored to its state when it was last stopped, because the trap was in a state in which it could not be monitored.

Starts remote monitoring without inheriting the state of the remote-monitoring log file trap when it was last stopped.

O:
  • If the detailed information indicates that the log file being monitored was deleted or re-created

    Check whether the log file being monitored was deleted or re-created.

    Make sure that you have access permission for the remote-monitoring target file.

    If no problem was found, review and correct the format of the log file (FILETYPE) specified in the action definition file, and then restart the remote-monitoring log file trap.

  • If the detailed information indicates that the size of the log file being monitored has decreased

    Check whether the content of the log file being monitored was deleted.

    If no problem was found, review and correct the format of the log file (FILETYPE) specified in the action definition file, and then restart the remote-monitoring log file trap.
