JP1 Version 12 JP1/Integrated Management 2 - Manager Messages

KNAN26142-W

The amount of data that a remote event-log trap collected from the host exceeded the limit. The event-log entries output from the last collection time to this collection time will not be output as JP1 events. (host name: host name, previous collection time: Last collection time (yyyy/MM/dd hh:mm:ss), this collection time: This collection time (yyyy/MM/dd hh:mm:ss))

Because the amount of data collected from the monitored host exceeded the limit that can be collected, the event-log entries output from the previous collection time to this collection time will not be output as JP1 events. The next monitoring will collect the event-log entries output from this collection time by the monitored host.

The last date and time when the remote event-log trap output event-logs as JP1 events is displayed as the previous collection time.

Even when the remote event-log trap is working, the date and time is not shown as the previous collection time if no event log is output as a JP1 event.

S:

Continues the event log trap.

O:

On the monitored host, check the event log data output from the previous collection time to the present collection time. If the present collection time is earlier than the previous collection time, the date and time on the manager host is different from the date and time on the monitored host. In such a case, this message might also be output for the next monitoring. Synchronize the time on the manager host and monitored host.

If this message frequently appears for the same monitored host, consider taking the following corrective actions:

  • Make sure that the date and time on the manager host is the same as the date and time on the monitored host.

  • Make sure that no event log entry exists on the monitored host for a time later than the current time of the monitored host. If any such events exist, delete them.

  • Specify a filter (-filter option of the jcfaleltstart command) as a startup option.

  • Configure a filter ahead of time on the Configuration File page of the Display/Edit Profiles window, or by using the -filter option of the jcfaleltdef command.

  • Shorten the monitoring interval.

  • Change the value for log acquisition capacity for the remote-monitoring event log trap.

  • Use an agent configuration for monitoring.
