Synchronization of the IM configuration failed because an error occurred during acquisition of the IM configuration. (error code = error-code)

An error occurred in the synchronized IM configuration (system hierarchy) during application to the IM Configuration Management database.

If the following detailed information is displayed, take the indicated corrective action.

  • IM Configuration Management database access error.

    Execute the jimdbstatus command, and then make sure that the IM database service is running. If the IM database service is not running, start the IM database service.

  • The host does not exist.

    Make sure that the host is registered in the host list of the IM Configuration Management window.

  • The Host host-name with the same name is defined

    Execute the jbsrt_get command on the integrated manager, and make sure that the same host name is not defined for the integrated manager and site manager. If the same host name is defined, edit the IM configuration so that the host names are unique. Then apply and synchronize the IM configuration.

  • The local host name host-name is different from the registered host name host-name.

    The local host in the agent configuration applied to JP1/Base might have an alias host name. Apply the agent configuration, and then retry the operation.

  • The maximum number of hosts (maximum limit) was exceeded.

    The number of hosts in the agent configuration applied to JP1/Base exceeded the maximum. Delete unnecessary hosts and then apply the agent configuration. Alternatively, consider expanding the size of the IM Configuration Management database.

If detailed information other than the above is output, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
