Terminates processing.

O:

Take corrective action based on the reason.

• Reason: The connection-destination host is not found.

  Check the following items, and then re-execute the command:

  - Is the host name of the SMTP server correct?

  - Can the host name for the SMTP server be resolved?

  - Is the SMTP port number correct?

• Reason: The command cannot connect to the host.

  Check the following items, and then re-execute the command:

  - Is the SMTP server running?

  - Are the SMTP server and manager host connected correctly?

  - Has a communication error occurred?

• Reason: A mail server error = message

  Check the message, and then re-execute the command. If the system does not recover from the error, collect data for JP1/IM, and then contact a system administrator.
