At startup: Assumes ALT_CLIENT_HOSTS in the common definitions is undefined and continues processing.

At reload: Continues processing using the definition set prior to reload.

Check the following:

• Has a host name of 256 bytes or more been specified?

• Has an IP address been assigned to the host in the hosts, DNS, or jp1hosts2 settings?
