Check the following:

• Is Event Service running? (Check with the jevstat command.)

• Is the name of the service specified as the AP port by the ports parameter of the event server configuration file (conf) set up in the services file?

• Is the address specified by the ports parameter in the event server configuration file (conf) and the addresses configured by the server and client parameters of the API configuration file able to communicate?

• If operating on an IPv6 host while configured for ANY binding, is the IPv6 address of the local host assigned to jp1hosts2?
