The operation mode of the common exclusion conditions could not be changed. (cause = cause)

An attempt to output the common-exclusion-conditions extended definition file failed.

S:

Terminates processing.

O:
Cause:An I/O error has occurred.

Check the three items described below in the following directories, and then retry the operation.

In Windows:

Physical host: Console-path\conf\console\filter\

Logical host: shared-folder\JP1Cons\conf\console\filter\

In UNIX:

Physical host: /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/

Logical host: shared-directory/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/

Item 1. Make sure that you can write to the common-exclusion-conditions extended definition file. If you cannot, assign write permission.

Item 2. If the common-exclusion-conditions extended definition file (common_exclude_filter_logical-host-name.conf) exists, check whether any other application is using the file. Exit any other application that is using the file.

Item 3. Make sure that there is sufficient free space on the disk to output the common-exclusion-conditions extended definition file.

Cause:A I/O error has occurred while loading the event acquisition filter., A I/O error has occurred while updating the event acquisition filter.

Check the two items described below in the following directories, and then retry the operation.

In Windows:

Physical host: Console-path\conf\console\filter\

Logical host: shared-folder\JP1Cons\conf\console\filter\

In UNIX:

Physical host: /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/

Logical host: shared-directory/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/

Item 1. Make sure that you can write to the event acquisition filter definition list file. If you cannot, assign write permission.

Item 2. If the event acquisition filter definition list file (receive_filter_list.conf) exists, check whether any other application is using the file. Exit any other application that is using the file.

If neither of the above items apply, the event acquisition filter definition file might have been corrupted. If you have backed up the event acquisition filter definition file, restore that file, and then retry the operation. If you have not backed up the file, execute the following command to create a file, and then retry the operation.

In Windows:

copy Console-path\conf\console\filter\receive_filter.conf.model Console-path\conf\console\filter\receive_filter.conf

In UNIX:

cp -p /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/receive_filter.conf.model /etc/opt/jp1cons/conf/console/filter/receive_filter.conf

Cause:A memory shortage occurred.

Allocate sufficient memory, and then retry the operation.

If the problem cannot be resolved, check the following OS log items to see if a shortage has occurred in other OS resources such as file descriptors.

  • In Windows: Windows event log

  • In UNIX: System log (syslog)

If a shortage has not occurred, use the data collection tool to collect data, and then contact a system administrator.
