5.15 Edit Business Group Basic Information window
The Edit Business Group Basic Information window is used to edit the basic information about a business group. When the changes made on this window are applied, the business group and monitoring groups in the following definitions in the central console are also updated:

The following describes the items displayed in the Edit Business Group Basic Information window.
- Business group name

This text box specifies the name of the business group being edited. Alphabetic characters are case sensitive. Control characters, slashes (/), and commas (,) cannot be used. A character string that begins or ends with a space cannot be specified. The business group name must be unique in the system. A character string having from 1 through 255 bytes can be specified. The default is the name of the business group that was selected for editing.
Do not use any environment-dependent character for business group names. Such a character might cause character corruption.
- Assigned JP1 resource group name

This text box specifies the JP1 resource group name that will be assigned to the business group being edited. The characters that can be used are printable ASCII characters other than tabs, spaces, and the following symbols: " / [ ] ; : | = , + ? < >. A character string having from 0 through 64 bytes can be specified. The default is the JP1 resource group name for the business group that was selected for editing.

This text box specifies a comment about the business group being edited. Any characters other than control characters can be used. A character string having from 0 through 80 bytes can be specified. The default is the comment about the business group that was selected for editing.
