4.16 Create New Monitoring Node window
The Create New Monitoring Node window is used to add a child node to the monitoring group selected in the Monitoring Tree (Editing) window. The Create New Monitoring Node window is displayed when the user chooses Edit from the menu bar of the Monitoring Tree (Editing) window and then Create New Monitoring Node.

The following describes the items displayed in the Create New Monitoring Node window.
- Monitoring node name

Specifies the name of the new monitoring node to be created. The name can be from 1 to 255 bytes, but must not include tab characters.
- Monitoring node type

This area is used to select the type of the new monitoring node to be created. Either the Monitoring object or the Monitoring group radio button can be selected. When the Monitoring object radio button is selected, the drop-down list can be used to select a system-monitoring object (such as AJS Monitoring Object or SSO Monitoring object) or a general monitoring object (user monitoring object). When a system-monitoring object is selected and the OK button is clicked, the Basic Information Settings window appears.
