JP1 Version 12 JP1/Integrated Management 2 - Manager GUI Reference

4.4 Visual Monitoring (Editing) window

The Visual Monitoring (Editing) window is used to create a visual monitoring window, so that the user can monitor applications visually. The user creates a visual monitoring window by dragging icons from the Monitoring Tree (Editing) window. Only users who belong to the JP1 resource group JP1_Console and have JP1_Console_Admin permission can load visual monitoring data from, and save data to, JP1/IM - Manager (Central Scope).

The Visual Monitoring (Editing) window is displayed when the user chooses Edit from the menu bar of the Monitoring Tree (Editing) window and then Create New Visual Monitoring Window.

The user can set any background image in the Visual Monitoring (Editing) window by using the Background Image Settings window. To use a user-created background image, the user needs to distribute it to all viewer hosts on which JP1/IM-View is used.

The following figure shows an example of the Visual Monitoring (Editing) window.
