2.3.2 Events area

The Events area displays the JP1 events occurring in the selected system components. The latest events are collected and displayed periodically. If JP1 events are consolidated by use of the suppression of repeated-event display provided by the Intelligent Integrated Management Base, consolidation events are displayed in the events list.

This section describes the Events area.

The following table lists the event statuses and the corresponding status icons. If the event status of the consolidation start event differs from the event status of a repeated event consolidated with it, an exclamation mark (!) is displayed in the Event status column of the consolidation start event.

Users who have JP1_Console_Admin permission or JP1_Console_Operator permission can use this menu.

Organization of this subsection

(1) Repeated event list window

The Repeated event list window is displayed in a window separated from the integrated operation viewer.

It has the same items as those displayed in the Events area, other than those described here.

Important

Multiple Repeated event list windows cannot be opened in the same session of the Web browser. You can use different sessions in the browser to open the Repeated event list window for each session.

Figure 2‒23: Repeated event list window

[Figure]

The following describes the items displayed in the Repeated event list window.

Consolidation event

Displays consolidation start events.

[Figure] Operation menu button

Shows the following operation menu items:

  • Status change at once: Changes the event statuses of repeated events at once. Clicking it shows the following menu items:

    - Unprocessed

    - [Figure] Processed

    - [Figure] Processing

    - [Figure] Held

When you select a menu item, the Status change at once for repeated events dialog box appears.

Clicking the OK button starts changing the event statuses of all repeated events. When the changes are finished, a message is displayed in the dialog box. To close the dialog box, click the OK button. To suspend the changes in the event statuses of repeated events, close the Web browser while changing them at once. In this case, the changes in the event statuses take effect before the Web browser is closed.

  • Monitor: This menu item is activated when the selected JP1 event is an event for which monitor startup is specified. When you click it, a window that corresponds to the selected JP1 event is displayed.

Refresh

Updates the information of consolidation events.

Repeated event condition: condition-name

Displays the condition name of the repeated event condition.

Repeated event list

Displays the list of consolidated repeated events.

[Figure] Operation menu button

Shows the following operation menu item:

  • Monitor: This menu item is activated when the selected JP1 event is an event for which monitor startup is specified. When you click it, a window that corresponds to the selected JP1 event is displayed.
