3.3 Customizing categories

This section describes how to customize the categories that are displayed in the integrated operation viewer. You can customize items by:

To customize a category:

  1. Open the category name definition file for IM management nodes (imdd_category_name.conf).

    If you change the display order in the category tree

    Define the categories in the order in which you want to show the items on the tree.

    If you change a category name

    Change the name of the target category.

    If you add a new category

    Define the category ID and category name of the new category you add.

  2. Execute the jddcreatetree command and then the jddupdatetree command.
