A.1 Types of log files

The following table lists types of log files. These log files are shared by CPA and CPA Option for AJS3.

Table A‒1: Types of log files

1	Product log	A log file that contains messages generated from CPA and CPA Option for AJS3
2	Report log	A log file that contains the history of executed jobs
3	Standard error output	The execution status and results of commands are sent to the standard output or standard error output of the operating system.
4	Standard output
5	Operation log	A log file that contains the history of operations made in the Job Design View

Important: CPA and CPA Option for AJS3 do not write records to Windows event log.
