3.8 Setting a Bandwidth Limitation Rule
This section describes how to set a bandwidth limitation rule.
A bandwidth limitation rule stipulates the total maximum network bandwidth used for each group or network set. The maximum transmission speed for a user to which a bandwidth limitation rule applies is the network bandwidth set in the rule. The user shares the bandwidth with other users whose transmissions are simultaneously in progress. A bandwidth limitation rule is set up using a combination of a group, network set, and the maximum network bandwidth.
Note that you need to create a network set before creating a bandwidth limitation rule. For details about how to create a network set, see the JP1/Data Highway - Server Administrator Guide.
