3.20.3 Creating a definition file

Create a definition file (ftsftps) by following the procedure described below. The definition becomes enabled when the JP1/FTP daemon (jftsd) starts.

(1) Attributes of the definition file

Create a definition file with the following attributes.

(2) Information specified in the definition file

By following the definition approach described below, specify information in the definition file (ftsftps) by using a text editor.

Specify information in the definition file by using one line for one definition.

Specify a full path to the private key file of the server. If you do not specify the path, the usual FTP is used.

Certificate

path-to-the-certificate

Specify a full path to the certificate file. If you do not specify the path, the usual FTP is used.

FTPSModeOnly

[YES|NO]<<NO>>

Specify whether to use only FTPS.

  • YES: Only FTPS is available. The usual FTP is not available. If you specify YES, the JP1/FTP daemon would not start unless a value is specified for either PrivateKey or Certificate.

  • NO: Not only FTPS but also the usual FTP is available.
