3.17.3 Creating a definition file

Create a definition file by following the procedure described below, and then specify definition information.

Organization of this subsection

(1) To create a definition file

Create a definition file with the following path name:

JP1/FTP-installation-directory\ftsftps.ini

(2) Information specified in the definition file

As shown below, information inside the file must be specified in Windows initialization file (.ini) format.

Specify whether to use only FTPS.

  • YES: Only FTPS is available. The usual FTP is not available. If you specify YES, the JP1/File Transmission Server/FTP Server service would not start unless a value is specified for either PrivateKey or Certificate.

  • NO: Not only FTPS but also the usual FTP is available.

(3) Note

The definition information becomes valid after the JP1/File Transmission Server/FTP Server service starts.
