If you want to use this product in an operating system that supports IPv4/IPv6 dual stacking, the IP address that is calculated from the SAP host name on the connection destination must be resolvable by using IPv4. In this case, you must not set the environment variable SAP_IPv6_ACTIVE (which is used for IPv6 communications with the SAP system) in the execution environment for JP1/AJS3 for EAP product.

If in Linux, Job Management Partner 1/Automatic Job Management System 3 for Enterprise Applications generates as many processes as commands that are concurrently being executed. It will also use as many file locks as four times the number of job control commands that are concurrently being executed. Therefore, the maximum numbers of system processes and file locks must be large enough to accommodate the process and file lock requirements of the program product.
