This situation occurs because the common definition information has not been set yet. Check whether the settings are correct.
- For cluster operation

Check whether the logical host name specified in the argument of the system management command is correct. Also check whether the logical host name specified in the JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable is correct. Also, setup for cluster operation as described in either of the following manuals is required: JP1/Base User's Guide or JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide. Make sure that one or the other has been performed.
- Operation other than cluster operation

Check whether the JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable was set at system startup. You cannot start the physical host if JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable has been set. If JP1_HOSTNAME environment variable has not been set but this message still appears, uninstall JP1/AJS3 and then re-install it.
