Setting of the integrated trace log failed when installing JP1/AJS3.

The probable cause is:

• As the access permissions to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE^#, Full Control is granted to the Everyone group only.

Add the Administrators group to the access permissions to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE^#, and grant Full Control to Administrators. Then retry the installation.

If you cannot resolve the problem, collect the following data and then contact the system administrator:

• Details about performed operations

• A hard copy of the dialog box

• A hard copy of the window showing the access permissions to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE^#

• A hard copy of the window showing the access permissions to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HITACHI\HNTRLIB2\HNTR1^#

• Installation log (system-folder\Temp\HITACHI_JP1_INST_LOG folder)

• Execution results of the data collection tool

For 64-bit versions of Windows, replace HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE with HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node.
