The probable causes are:

• Read and write permissions have not been set for the files in the custom job registration information folder.

• Another program is editing a file in the custom job registration information folder.

• The applicable file in the custom job registration information folder has been deleted, or the file name was changed.

• The hidden file attribute is set for the applicable file in the custom job registration information folder.

• The custom job registration information folder contains a folder with the following name:

  character-string-specified-for-"Name".CJI

• One of the following was specified for Name:

  - An MS-DOS device name (NUL, CON, AUX, CLOCK$, COM1 to COM9, LPT1 to LPT9, or PRN)

  - A character string beginning with MS-DOS-device-name. (period)

  - A control character, such as a line feed character or a tab character

The locations of the custom job registration information folder are as follows:

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Hitachi\JP1\JP1_DEFAULT\JP1AJS2V\custom.dir\

The default for %ALLUSERSPROFILE% is system-drive\ProgramData.
