Probable causes are:

• The unit name does not begin with a forward slash ("/").

• A part of the unit name between forward slashes exceeds 30 bytes^#1.

• A part of the unit name between forward slashes is 0 bytes.

• The unit name ends with a forward slash.

• The maximum value for the unit hierarchy^#2 was exceeded.

If the environment at the connection destination is a UTF-8 environment and the setting^#3 for changing the number of characters specifiable for unit names or other items is enabled, the length is 30 bytes based on Shift-JIS encoding.

The maximum value for the unit hierarchy is 30 levels from directly under the root job group (excluding the root job group).

If the environment at the connection destination is a UTF-8 environment and the setting^#3 for changing the number of characters specifiable for unit names or other items is enabled, the maximum value for the unit hierarchy is 10, counting from directly under the root job group (excluding the root job group).
