If this message is displayed during uploading or downloading of the common user profile or the View customization settings file, check whether the OS user mapped at the connection destination has access permission for files and directories at the connection destination. For details on the location of common user profiles at the connection destination, see 11.1.2 Using common user profiles in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Operator's Guide.

For other cases, the probable causes are as follows. Check and correct the cause of the error.

When the connection destination is JP1/AJS3 - Manager for Windows
  • When you are using the JP1/AJS3 service with a user account, you do not have the required permissions.

    For details on the required permissions, see 4.2.3 Changing the JP1/AJS3 service settings (Windows only) in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Configuration) Guide.

  • The OS user mapped to the logged-in JP1 user is defined incorrectly in the user mapping settings in JP1/Base.

    For details about the OS user definition format, see 3.1.1 Setting up JP1/Base in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.

  • Read and write permissions for the folder specified by database directory name for the scheduler service, and the files in that folder, have not been set for the OS user mapped to the JP1 user.

When the connection destination is JP1/AJS3 - Manager for UNIX
  • The OS user mapped to the JP1 user does not have read permission for the configuration definition files (files in /opt/jp1/hcclibcnf/regdir).

  • Read, write, and execute permissions (rwx) for the directory specified by database directory name for the scheduler service, and the files in that directory, have not been set for the OS user mapped to the JP1 user.
