JP1 Version 12 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Messages

KAVU4520-W

The job cannot be registered because the system already reached the maximum number of jobs (maximum-number), as stipulated in environment setting (logical-host-name).

The job cannot be registered. The probable causes are:

  1. The job cannot be registered because the number of jobs registered in the queue has reached the maximum number of jobs allowed in the system as defined in the environment settings.

  2. The job cannot be registered because the number of jobs registered in the database for QUEUE jobs and submit jobs has reached the maximum number of jobs.

(S)

Cancels the requested processing.

(O)

Take one of the following actions according to the cause of the error, and then reissue the request:

  1. Either wait for an executing job to end and then issue another request, or review the value for the maximum number of jobs allowed in the system defined in the environment settings for the job execution environment. For the definition of the maximum number of jobs allowed in the system, see the values that can be specified the MaximumContentJob environment setting parameter.

  2. In the standard configuration, the number of jobs that can be registered in the database for QUEUE jobs and submit jobs is less than 200,000.

Information about the execution results of jobs is registered in the database. The total number of jobs in the database is the number of jobs for the days that job information is stored, plus the number of jobs for one day. For example, if the number of jobs executed per day is 10,000 and the number of days that jobs are stored is 10 days, a total of 110,000 jobs will be registered.

Adjust the number of days that job information is stored so that the number of job execution-result information items to be registered in the database is less than 200,000. When you define the number of days that job information is stored, refer to the value set in the PreserveTerm environment setting parameter. For details about the PreserveTerm environment variable parameter, see 20.5.2(4) PreserveTerm in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.
