Check whether any of the following probable causes are present:

  1. The user mapping definition for the agent host does not contain the JP1 user.

  2. The user mapping definition for the agent host contains a non-existent OS user.

  3. The user mapping definition for the agent host contains an OS user with an invalid password (Windows only).

  4. There is no JP1 user that has the same name as the OS user who executed the ajsentry command.

  5. Memory was insufficient.

  6. When User who owns is specified for Executed by and the Owner column is blank, an OS user whose name is not registered as a JP1 user is set for the JP1/AJS3 service startup account on the manager host.

  7. If the JP1/AJS3 service startup account has been changed from a system account to a user account, the user account does not have the necessary permissions (Windows only).

Take one of the following actions according to the cause of the error:

  1. In the user mapping definition for the agent host that executes the job, register the JP1 user indicated in JP1-user-name in the message, and then map the JP1 user to the OS user.

  2. In the user mapping definition for the agent host that executes the job, register an existing OS user.

  3. Execute the jbsumappass command to reset the OS user's password. For password, specify the OS user's password (Windows only).

  4. Do either of the following, and then re-execute the ajsentry command:

    - Add a JP1 user that has the same name as the OS user, and then map the JP1 user to the OS user.

    - In the job definition, specify the owner as the user who executes the job.

  5. Check the memory status, and re-estimate memory requirements.

  6. In the user mapping definition, register the JP1 user indicated in JP1-user-name in the message. Alternatively, in Windows, set the OS user whose user name is registered as a JP1 user for the JP1/AJS3 service startup account on the manager host.

  7. Set the necessary permissions for the user account that starts the JP1/AJS3 service. For details, see 4.2.3 Changing the JP1/AJS3 service settings (Windows only) in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 System Design (Configuration) Guide.

For details on how to set up user mapping, see 3. Setup in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide (for hosts under Windows)or 13. Setup in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide (for hosts under UNIX).

For details on the JP1/AJS3 commands, see 3. Commands Used for Normal Operations in the manual JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Command Reference.

For details about the JP1/Base commands, see the JP1/Base User's Guide.

For cases other than the above, check the integrated trace log for whether a KAVUxxxx message was output before or after this message. If a KAVUxxxx message was output, read the message explanation.
