JP1 Version 12 JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Messages

KAVU3531-W

The manager (logical-host-name) host name might be invalid.

The network must be set up so that the IP address can be determined from the specified host name by using the hosts file or the DNS server.

(S)

Cancels the requested processing.

(O)

Make sure that TCP/IP communication is available under the specified logical host name, and then reissue the request.

Cautionary note

If the KAVU3217-W message was output before or after this message, an error occurred during the transfer processing for a result file. If 1 is set for the IgnoreResultFileError environment setting parameter, the return code of the job process is set for the return code of the job, and the job is placed into the Ended normally, Ended with warning, or Ended abnormally status depending on the final judgment. In addition, the result file is not re-sent, because termination of the job is preferred. Accordingly, you cannot use the Execution Result Details dialog box of JP1/AJS3 - View to view the contents of the standard error output file.

Because the result file for the job is not re-sent, the values set for the NotfyJobStateInterval and NotfyJobStateCount environment setting parameters will not be enabled. (These parameters specify the interval for resending the result file for the job and the number of times it is re-sent.)

For details about the IgnoreResultFileError environment setting parameter, see 20.5 Setting up the job execution environment in the JP1/Automatic Job Management System 3 Configuration Guide.
